Sage is a quickly-rising singer and songwriter based in Minneapolis, but with roots in both Omaha, NE, and Milwaukee, WI.

Growing up, Sage was exposed to a variety of musical genres by her mother, which helped to shape her appreciation for all types of music.

A truly versatile artist, Sage’s music can be described as a blend of pop, soul, and gospel, with influences from artists such as Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Anita Baker, and Aretha Franklin. Her sound evokes a wide range of emotions, with lyrics that touch on real-life events, tragedies, and triumphs. Sage has been making music since a young age, starting to sing at the age of eight with her sister.

In addition to her music career, Sage also has a background in modeling and was a top ten Miss Hawaiian Tropics in Minnesota when she was twenty-two. She also competed in the International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) in 2000 and placed third runner-up in a runway competition. No stranger to the stage, in 2008 Sage participated in the Apollo Theatre auditions in New York where she sang a gospel song to make it through that first round. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the TV version, but that did not stop her from continuing her dream.
